Do you have a budget in mind?

Please bear in mind that re-upholstery is not always cheaper, than buying new. Depending on its age, size and condition, the cost of re-upholstering an armchair starts from $450 and a sofa from $1800 (prices exclude fabric)

Is reupholstery cheaper than buying new?

A lot is included in reupholstery – it’s more than replacing the existing fabric. We have to strip down your furniture (removing the old fabric, tacks and staples) and make any repairs. We can also change the seating configuration if needed. We restuff or replace the cushion fillings and then recover your item in new fabric and add finishing touches (pipings and trims). For this reason, reupholstery won’t be cheaper than buying new, but you get far greater value: a bespoke piece of furniture reupholstered with high-quality materials.
I love my sofa but hate the cushion filling. Can you replace it with something more comfortabale and supportive?

Absolutely, you don’t need to put up with lumpy or saggy sofa seats or back cushions. We can replace them with more supportive and longer-lasting filling, extending the life of your existing sofa.
How long will it take to reupholster my item?

After I’ve received your item at the workshop, you can expect the work to take 2-6 weeks, but I’ll discuss this with you when you book your project. Sofas are normally quicker
Do you reupholster modern furniture less that 5 years old?

Do you reupholster in leather?

Yes, we do. You can choose from leather, which can be expensive, or you can select vinyl. Vinyl looks like leather but costs less. It is also a high-quality, sustainable choice that saves you money.
I have a leather sofa. Can you reupholster it in another fabric?

Yes, leather furniture that has been reupholstered can look great when covered in fabric. Alternatively, if the cushions are worn out, you can create new covers if the leather is damaged or broken down.
Can you reupholster my large sofa at my home?

No, I don’t reupholstery at a client’s home. For health and safety, insurance, and practical reasons, all reupholstery work is done at my workshop.
Do you reupholster outdoor furniture?

Yes, beauty and functionality can exist both outdoors and indoors. I have many durable outdoor fabrics to create modern and inviting outdoor living spaces. Choose from UV-resistant, water-resistant, and colour-fast fabrics, including weaves, velvets, cotton, patterns, and plain options.
Do you have sustainable/eco-friendly fabric options?

Many fabric suppliers now offer sustainable fabrics. If you are interested in this, we will be happy to guide you in sourcing the right one for your project.
